Tips and Tricks to Stay Savvy

Why Pay Full Price?
Here are some ideas on how to save some $

Buy off season.
Get the summer clothes and shoes on fall/winter clearance.
Winter clothes during the spring clearance, sometimes summer sales too!

I will be posting about sales throughout the year.

Do Not focus on quantity, choose Quality over Quantity.

Just because it's a great sale, doesn't mean you should load up. One person does not need 10+  pairs of jeans, t-shirts, long sleeves and so on. Wait for those really great quality/cute/must have or more expensive clothing stores to have a sale and buy a couple awesome things over a million cheap things. It will most likely cost the Same or LESS than what you would have spent on all those cheap finds you racked up because of how many you bought.
(even play clothes should be at a minimum!)

Quantity

How many shirts, pants, jeans, dresses, pajamas and so on do you have? How many do you actually wear? How many do you really need?
Take a look at the closets or drawers of each member in your household.
I have recently been loving the concept of outfits, how do you feel about it? Outfit purchases VS.  individual purchases.
In my daughter's drawer I have a few outfits folded together that I purchased at the same time and it just makes dressing for the day so much easier. I love the way it's just set. Of course you can pair other pieces with the top and so on, but for some reason it just feels nice the way it is. It inspires me to do the same for each of my family members.

Gifting

We All give gifts throughout the year, right? Well 90% of the gifts I give are from a sale or clearance.  I hardly ever pay full price unless it something really special that never goes on sale. Most gifts I have 6 months - 1 year in advance.
Birthdays, holidays, weddings , last minute showers, I am always prepared. Anytime I see something really great on clearance, I get it. I'm talking at least 60% off or more.
